How often should I wax my car?
A good rule to follow is wax your vehicle every 10 washes or every 3 months witch ever comes first. Remember very hot summers and mechanical car washes will accelerate this time line. Mechanical car washes use harsh chemicals to clean your car as fast as possible, so if you use a drive through car wash you need to wax your car every 5 washes. In addition if your car spends its time in the hot sun all summer you will need to wax it every month to insure long paint life as well as the new car look. Classic Image offers paint sealants that will last longer as well as offer better protection against harsh car wash chemicals.
Should I protect my convertible top?
Yes! Convertible top treatment is a must for all tops (fabric) as well as (vinyl) tops. Auto manufacturers recommend tops should be treated with a ultra-violet protection minimum of 2 times a year. This time line depends on how often the car is washed as well as how much the car spends in the sun. In Arizona we can expect the harshest conditions possible for tops due to heat & the time spent in the sun.
